Five vehicles, including a Renault Scenic and a Honda Civic, were involved in a crash on the A52 in Broxtowe at 19:00 on Friday 25 November 2016. The 22-year-old male driver of the Honda Civic and a 41-year-old male passenger in the Honda Civic were killed and two other people were slightly injured.

It happened after dark under street lighting in fine weather on a dry dual carriageway with a 40 mph limit, away from any junction.
