Fatal A454 crash in Shropshire on 24 February 2016 at 18:40 involving a Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle

Ten vehicles, including a Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle and a Suzuki motorcycle, were involved in a crash on the A454 in Shropshire at 18:40 on Wednesday 24 February 2016. The 23-year-old male rider of the Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle was killed and the 36-year-old male rider of the Suzuki motorcycle was seriously injured.

It happened after dark with no street lighting in fine weather on a dry single carriageway with a 60 mph limit, away from any junction.
