Fatal A13 crash in Thurrock on 13 December 2003 at 04:40 involving a Vauxhall Omega

Six vehicles, including a Vauxhall Omega and a Ford Transit van, were involved in a crash on the A13 in Thurrock at 04:40 on Saturday 13 December 2003. An 18-year-old male pedestrian hit by the Vauxhall Omega and a 25-year-old male pedestrian hit by the Mercedes E Class were killed, one other person was seriously injured and one was slightly injured.

It happened after dark under street lighting in the rain on a wet dual carriageway with a 70 mph limit, away from any junction.
