A Toyota Carina and a Ford Orion were involved in a crash on the B1352 in Tendring at 18:55 on Monday 20 March 2000. A 77-year-old male pedestrian hit by the Toyota Carina and an 84-year-old female pedestrian hit by the Toyota Carina were killed, one other person was seriously injured and four were slightly injured. Two of the others were pedestrians.
