Four vehicles, including a Leyland DAF FTG 95 lorry and a Vauxhall Cavalier, were involved in a crash on the M1 in Milton Keynes at 17:50 on Sunday 1 December 1996. The 41-year-old male driver of the Ford Mondeo, a 41-year-old female passenger in the Ford Mondeo and a 15-year-old female passenger in the Ford Mondeo were killed and six other people were slightly injured.
