Fatal A140 crash in Mid Suffolk on 30 August 1992 at 21:10 involving a Ford Transit minibus

Four vehicles, including a Ford Transit minibus and a Vauxhall Belmont, were involved in a crash on the A140 in Mid Suffolk at 21:10 on Sunday 30 August 1992. The 60-year-old male driver of the Rover 200 Series, a 42-year-old female passenger in the Rover 200 Series and a 38-year-old male passenger in the Ford Transit minibus were killed, one other person was seriously injured and nine were slightly injured.

It happened after dark with no street lighting in fine weather on a dry single carriageway with a 60 mph limit, away from any junction.
